Pajman Jassim

Trial Lawyer for Seriously Injured People and Their Families
Pajman Jassim has represented injured people in San Diego for more than two decades. He founded Jassim Law on a straightforward idea: someone whose life has been upended by a serious injury deserves a lawyer who knows the clients’ story, is available to the clients, and is prepared to try the case. Pajman and his partner, Parisima Jassim, personally handle every case the firm accepts.
Clients Are Our Priority
Jassim Law does not operate on volume. We intentionally limit the number of cases the firm accepts so that every client has direct access to the attorneys not a case manager from the first phone call to the final resolution. We meet clients where they are, including at home or at a medical appointment when that helps, and they explain each stage of the case in plain language so clients are never left guessing.
“Although we live out of town, they took the time to visit our home, get to know our family, and meet us in person.” — Gabriela M., client (Google Review)
Selective About the Cases We Take
Selectivity is what allows the firm to give each case full attention. We believe justice is achieved one client at a time. It also means being honest with people about their cases—including when Jassim Law is not the right fit. We take the time to explain a person’s options even when the firm will not be representing them.
“Although my case ultimately wasn’t a fit, Pajman spent over 30 minutes on the phone with me offering invaluable advice and guidance.” — Erin K., prospective client (Google Review)
Integrity in Every Representation
Pajman holds himself and the firm to the highest standards of integrity and professional ethics. In practice, that means candid case evaluations, realistic expectations from the outset, no pressure to sign, and clear communication about where a case stands. He has been a member in good standing with the State Bar of California since 2003.
“He very thoroughly explained the process … (he did not pressure me at ALL), [and] that he or his wife Parisima would be the lawyers working the case—not shoveled off onto junior attorneys or paralegals.” — Rebecca B., client (Google Review)
Every Case Prepared for Trial
Insurance companies value claims based on how they expect them to end. That is why Pajman and the firm prepares every case for trial from the first day. When appropriate, the firm files suit early to preserve evidence and secure subpoena power; obtains surveillance and body-worn camera video before it is lost; retains the reconstruction, medical, and other experts the case requires; and takes the depositions that establish liability. That preparation is what produces full and fair justice whether through settlements or trial—and it means the firm is ready when a case should be decided by a jury.
“Their team immediately investigated the case, and hired experts, took depositions, and spared no expense to prove I was not at fault … [and] were ready to take my case to trial.” — Inja K., client (Google Review)
Our Case Results
Pajman is especially proud of results in cases where fault was disputed—cases with no independent witnesses, a police report that blamed the client, or a defense theory that the client caused the crash. Representative results include:
- $8,250,000 settlement — motorcycle collision. A driver made an unsafe left turn across the path of a rider proceeding on a green light. The defense claimed the rider was speeding. Pajman rebutted that claim with police body-worn camera footage, witness and officer depositions, and accident reconstruction experts.
- $4,000,000 recovery — pedestrian struck in a crosswalk, recovered from three separate insurance policies, including the driver’s employer’s coverage.
- $2,250,000 settlement — e-bike rider with a traumatic brain injury. The rider, who was not wearing a helmet, was in a bike lane when a truck turned right across her path into a driveway. Suit was filed immediately when our client was unfairly blamed.
- $1,370,000 wrongful death settlement — e-bike collision. A landscaping truck blocking the bike lane forced the rider into the path of a following car. There were no independent witnesses, and the police report blamed the rider for swerving.
- $400,000 settlement on a $250,000 insurance policy — pedestrian collision. Pajman subpoenaed City of San Diego street-light video and brought a dangerous-condition claim against the City. The City contributed, and the driver paid personally above the policy limits.
- $395,000 settlement — motorcycle collision. An on-duty security officer ran a red light. Suit was filed immediately, and body-worn camera footage and early depositions established liability.
Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome. Every case is different and must be evaluated on its own facts. Amounts shown are gross recoveries before attorney’s fees and costs.
