Car Crashes Into Poway Grocery Store, Seriously Injuring Three People

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the collision occurred on Sunday, September 6, 2026, shortly before 4:30 p.m. at North Park Produce in the 12000 block of Poway Road. Deputies responding to the scene found a silver 2024 BMW i4 that had crashed into the front of the business.

Three people suffered life-threatening injuries and were transported to area hospitals. Authorities later reported that all three were in stable condition. The BMW’s driver remained at the scene and was cooperating with investigators.

The Sheriff’s Department says alcohol and drugs are not currently believed to have contributed to the crash. The vehicle was towed as investigators work to determine exactly what happened.
